About Ranch House Concerts: Angela has always loved live music. When she first moved into her house -- in the "ranch house district" of Olivette -- her friend, Rick, noticed that the spacious living room would be a perfect place to have a house concert. Why not? After Rick and his wife, Nancy, began hosting a few shows, Ranch House Concerts hosted its first concert in 2007.

Ranch House Concerts are invitation-only events. Angela hopes to provide a place where avid music fans can hear live music in a comfortable setting. She, with the help of her very dedicated Ranch House "Circle of Trust" Group of Friends, support touring musicians by providing them with a venue where people will really listen to their music, giving them high-quality exposure to sincere music fans.

To receive invitations, email Angela at melsona@me.com, and she will add you to our email list. Ranch House Concerts generally sends out an email notification of a new concert a few weeks in advance. If you are interested in a particular event, she will be happy to send you an invitation if there is more space available. We request that everyone who plans on attending RSVP by email so we have an accurate sense of how many are coming.

“Ticket” prices: Ranch House Concerts doesn't sell actual tickets. Our “ticket” price is a suggested minimum amount to contribute to the artist for their performance. All that we collect goes directly to the performers. We have had people contribute more than the minimum in the past, and all of the extra money goes directly to the performers as well.

Once you RSVP by email, we encourage you to pay for your “ticket” in advance. This gives us a more accurate count of how many are coming, and we don’t have to spend as much time worrying about the money on the night of the show. The email invitations include instructions on how to pay either by check or paypal.  We keep a list of people who have RSVPed/paid at the door and will check you off as you arrive.

Food/drink: All food and drink is bring-your-own, pot-luck style. We have plenty of coolers and ice available. Keep in mind that we feed the performers as well, so a few heartier items are always appreciated!

Location: We are located in central St. Louis County in Olivette. We will send you detailed directions and instructions on where to park when we’ve received confirmation that you are coming.
